Your new role as Business Development manager will be on a Full-Time basis. Sterling and Freeman are an established non-bank corporate lender currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and commercially minded individual that can partner with leaders across the business to accelerate the growth and profile of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and cultivate long-term professional relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Lead and participate in the client-facing meetings and pitches.
  • Work with the Partnerships team to deliver the business’ global distribution strategy.

About You:

The Role:

Your new role as Credit Analyst will be on a Full-Time basis. Sterling and Freeman are an established non-bank corporate lender currently seeking an experienced credit analyst to join our successful team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for analysing loan applications and collaborating with lenders and risk teams for approval.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and assess a broad range of complex credit applications.
  • Complete inbound quality checks to ensure lending submissions meet minimum requirements to proceed to credit writing Risk & compliance management Deliver consistent customer experience and outcomes
  • Credit Analysis – thorough analysis of customers financial information; tax returns, financial statements etc. Ensure regulatory and policy requirements are met through industry knowledge
  • Take ownership of client queries at credit level
  • Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure smooth process
  • Meet and exceed service level agreements

About You

  • You will have proven experience utilising your analytical skills; ideally experience in credit or exposure to quality assurance, balance sheets or credit structures
  • Previous experience in banking, lending, accounting and/or financial services is highly regarded
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You must be driven, have strong attention to detail and manage your time we
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications (degree preferred)
  • Experience in local business and corporate credit
